One-to-One

In person

I offer one-to-one classes in London to help you achieve your speech goals, whatever they may be. In a first meeting we will:

• explore your goals & needs
• establish where you are now
• work on aspects of your speech so you can sample my methods

There is no commitment to continue. No prior knowledge of phonetics is needed. I can work with traditional phonetic descriptions for those who are familiar with them, but I am also able to get results using a non-technical approach.

Sessions are 55 minutes minimum; discounts apply for prepaid packages. Please contact me for details and availability.

I also give small-group classes to corporate clients at your premises. Please contact me to discuss your requirements.

Online

Those who try online coaching discover that it’s one of the best ways to work on speech face to face. In addition to the convenience of having sessions without the need to travel, sound quality is generally excellent – better than in many classroom settings. Webcams are great for modelling articulations, and it’s easy to use instant text in sessions, including special symbols where useful. I use either Skype or VSee for online classes – both are free.
